The title of the film is a Tibetan greeting. The character is 18-year old Tashi, a Buddhist monk that must make a decision whether he should stay at the monastery or go back to his home village. He faces the choice between a safe life based on discipline and the outside world which is attractive but remains unpredictable. Going on holiday, Tashi travels a long way over the Himalayas. Will this expedition help him to dispel his doubts as to who he would eventually like to become?
