The Chop
The Chop is a comedy set in the environment of English butchers. Yossi, a charismatic employee of Mr Glickman’s shop, losses his job one day. This difficult situation makes him take up immediate action. Hoping for employment, Yossi knocks on the door of every kosher butcher in town. Eventually, unable to come up with another solution, he decides to embark upon a risky idea. Under the new name of Yusuf, he goes to work for a halal butcher. In his perverse comedy of errors, Lewis Rose demonstrates how a minor coincidence may help find out the best solution.
