A couple is awaiting the birth of their first child and hatches plans of a happy life together as a family of three. Unexpected complications during the delivery and the diagnosis of the baby’s disability cast a shadow on their relationship, in particular, the mother’s mental health. Raising the child she is unable to love becomes a great burden for the woman. In a dense and teary atmosphere, O’Donnels shows the claustrophobia of the family’s life and the inability to overcome one’s own prejudice.
