Black and white stripes that appear in a zebra’s dreams become arranged into shapes that can only be seen at night. A hypnotising dance of geometric forms brings back the memories of friends and familiar images. Strings looking like a net curtain make the canvas for shiny drops of memory. In Ülo Pikkov’s latest picture, which is a drawn-on-film animation, one may find the memories of completely unintentionally remembered moments that emerge clearly, just like sun rays filtering through the net of a curtain.
