Child Dream

Governed by the logic of a disturbingly realistic dream, Gérard’s film portrays the relationship between a mother and child. The two have completely opposite attitudes to the world and people, which also governs their mutual relations. Full of fear and uncertainty, the mother stands in opposition to the child, who is open to every new sensation. The film shows the characters during one rainy day when the streams of pouring rain make puddles so deep that one may drown in them. On this very day, something will change between the characters.
