Ball, a 30-year old man from Taiwan who is the protagonist of the film, lives the life of indulgence. He is attracted by Bangkok’s night life: parties, friends and alcohol. But according to an ancient tradition, a man should spend some time in the monastery to prove his maturity and face the harsh rules of Buddhism. Thus, Ball will stay in a quiet monastery surrounded by the sea for two weeks subjecting himself to the spiritual guidance of local monks.
