A likeable 89-year-old man takes out one of the numerous medals awarded to him by the Serbian nation explaining , “Putin and Medvedev received it before me and now it is mine”. Nothing makes doctor Doleček more proud than his friendship with Ratko Mladić, the general responsible for the siege of Sarajevo and the Srebrenica massacre. In her film, the young director, who represents “the other side of the barricade” in the conflict in Bosnia, asks the question about relativism in the perception of historical events. How far can it go?
