In India, Jordan and Palestine, the family members who lost their reputation or offended the honour of the family according to the rules of the local culture, are killed in barbaric ways. The victims are, most often, young women and the murderers are their fathers or brothers. The UN statistics document the killings of about 5000 women every year, but according to women’s organisations these numbers may exceed over 20000 victims a year. The protagonists of the documentary are both the women who survived and the perpetrators who have to face their tragic memories and painful past.
