Niklas Frank and Horst von Wächter are watching photographs in family albums. Black and white photos from holidays or trips show their fathers, the closest collaborators of Hitler. Although there is a lot that Niklas and Horst have in common, they definitely differ with respect to their approach to family bonds. Is your love for the father that took part in the creation of the Krakow ghetto and the extermination of entire villages a natural thing? It is so for Horst, but Niklas never felt any bond with his father, the General Governor of occupied Poland, convicted in the Nuremberg trials as a war criminal.
