Dead Slow Ahead

Dead Slow Ahead

“Fair Lady”, a freighter drifting in the emptiness of the ocean, looks like a spaceship. Without a word of commentary, the camera is examining its gigantic bulk in which man and the machine become one body and, at the same time, a relic of the industrial era. In this film, the diagnosis of civilisational change meets with contemplation creating a disturbing picture of human loneliness in the increasingly dehumanised world developed by man on the Earth as well as human loneliness in the universe.
