Don't Cry When I'm Gone

Don't Cry When I'm Gone

Hits with the lyrics she wrote were performed by Jerzy Połomski, Sława Przybylska and Czerwone Gitary, but the one hit she is best known for is the famous song Don’t Cry When I Am Gone in the lyrical performance of Mariono Marini. Sławomira Grünberg’s film focuses on Wanda Sieradzka, a ghetto survivor who loved life, was the life and soul of the party, a beauty greedy for male attention and, above all, an artist. She worked for the television, got married twice, travelled extensively, wrote dozens of unforgettable songs, screenplays and poems. Wanda hated boredom as confirmed by the stories told by her son and friends.
