A group of young Somali immigrants escape from the country in the midst of war to the small Swedish town of Borlänge. Thanks to a charismatic local businessman, they join a hockey team and become the first African team to practice a variation of this sports discipline. At present, they are preparing for participation in world championships held in Siberia. The goal is success in sports, but the political and social background as well as anti-immigrant sentiment in the town become equally important.
