Robert Förstemann, a well-known track cyclist, must compete against a 700 Watt toaster. Will he be able to generate enough energy using his strong legs to toast a piece of bread? The sportsman took up the challenge of scientists to show how much energy human beings consume as compared with the amount they can produce by themselves.
