In this dark fairy tale about loneliness, told in a slightly surreal manner, a young couple, Mauri and Zuzia, live in a block of flats engulfed in the plague of pigeons. One day, a chick that hatches in the balcony speaks in a human voice to them. He tells them to start looking each other into the eyes because otherwise they will die infected by a virus. Zuzia wants to protect herself and Maurycy from the risk of death but the boy does not believe such nonsense. He hates birds and plans to kill them all. Will the couple manage to find happiness together?
