Ice and the Sky

Ice and the Sky made by Luc Jacquet, the director of the Oscar-winning March of the Penguins, is a story of 82-year-old Claude Lorius who has devoted his entire life to the research on Antarctica. This exceptional man, who was the first person to discover the relationship between CO2 emissions and climate warming, came to Antarctica for the first time when he was 23. Over 20 polar expeditions have equipped him with enormous knowledge that he shares with the audience on the screen, at the same time paying tribute to our planet.
