Urszula Flis, the film protagonist, runs a farm on her own in a small village and, at the same time, is a great fan of literature and theatre, which makes her a local sensation. Residents do not understand her otherness and consecutive journalists come to visit her to find out about the source of these allegedly incompatible interests. A conversation with the reporter who comes with the film crew reveals a clash between two, completely different, views of life.
