Katyn Forest

Las Katyński | Documentary | PL | 53'

The film is a testimony of the people who, to a various extent, were affected by the Katyn massacre carried out by the NKVD in 1940. It includes contributions of those who stayed in camps from which Poles were later deported to die, the family members of the murdered officers as well as those who lived near the places of executions. Families come to Katyń to symbolically say goodbye to their relatives and ask residents, who are still afraid to discuss openly what they saw, about their memories from that period.
