The film takes a discreet peek at the world of the little ones. Jean, the protagonist, goes to school for the first time. He wants to learn how to write as soon as possible to send a letter to his mom, whom he has not seen for a long time. His family keeps telling him that she has gone away. His female friend and younger brother help him to face the challenges that he encounters at school. The film tames fear and, above all, provides comfort while the main character serves as a proof that it worth to walk through life with you head up and hand in hand with your friends.
