The second part of the documentary about the Olympic Games in Berlin. Leni Riefenstahl’s film became a classic not only because it was the first film showing the Olympics on such a grand scale but, above all, thanks to the innovative filmmaking techniques. Cameras observed sportsmen from the holes hidden in the run-up courses for the pole vault, mobile carts following the sprinters or yachts hurtling among the competing sailors.
