Dutch self-taught director. At the beginning of his career he made experimental music videos and commercials. His first prize, hi man award, was granted for the Calve commercial. After this success, his next commercials, which combined humour with the sense of rhythm, won many distinctions. In 2012 he became interested in documentary film and directed his first picture, The van Waveren Tapes. Since then, he has made several short and documentary films.
