In February 2015, the leader of the Russian opposition was shot dead in the centre of Moscow, which is the beginning of the film about Niemcov’s final period of life. The young director managed to establish a very close contact with the protagonist. She accompanied him with her camera during the pre-election journeys and meetings, at anti-Putin demonstrations as well as less formal occasions. The recorded material shows a film portrait of a man, direct and brave, captured live.
