Poodles, pointers, boxers and sheepdogs should all fear when a dog catcher picks up their scent. But the eponymous dog-catcher is a special kind of a rouge who kidnaps animals in order to return them to their legal owners as a result of which he can be showered with various forms of gratitude, sometimes even an envelope including an exact amount of the reward. The role of a bait in this black comedy goes to one handsome German shepherd that turns out to be a stray dog. What shall one do about it?
