Baobabs between Land and Sea
Baobabs from Madagascar, which are among the most exceptional trees on our planet, are in danger of extinction. Cyrille Cornu and Wilfrid Ramahafaly, experts in biodiversity and wildlife protection, set off on a journey to the heart of the forest to find an answer to the question pestering them: why do baobabs die? During this expedition they also document the life of the island residents for whom baobabs are the source of income and the fundamental construction material. The director reveals a unique ecosystem to us, one that has never been filmed.
