The film tells an unknown story of the Polish missile programme. Was Poland able to send a satellite into orbit around the Earth as early as in the 1970s? In 1957-1974, the Missile Technology Cell at Krakow’s Academy of Mining and Metallurgy headed by professor Jacek Walczewski constructed missiles of extraordinary capacities. The unfavourable political reality of the time was a stumbling block to the achievements of Polish scientists, but their passion and involvement led them to impressive results.
