Iranian filmmaker with vast background in theatre. In 2003, he established his production company Arta Atelier. Najafi participated in the Berlinale Talent Campus with his short film, Move It (2004). His first documentary Football Under Cover, co-directed by David Assmann, premiered at Berlinale in 2008 where it won the Teddy Award for best documentary. No Land’s Song, his feature documentary, was screened at more than 50 festivals around the world. He currently lives in Berlin and Tehran.
