Russian documentary filmmaker born in Omsk in 1982. In 2004 he earned a degree in History from Omsk State University. In 2005 he received a diploma of the Internews Independent School of Cinema and Television in Moscow where he studied at the Faculty of Film and Television Directing. His films have been screened and awarded at numerous film festivals in Russia and abroad. Golonev is a member of the Union of Cinematographers of Russia.
