Director, screenwriter, film producer and university teacher. He graduated from Polish Philology at Warsaw University (1979), the Faculty of Radio and Television at the University of Silesia in Katowice (1985) and the National Film and Television School (Beaconsfield - England, 1987). Since 1990 he has made documentary and feature films, television programmes and performances. In 1998-2002 he was a member of the Polish Television Programme Council. In 2005 he founded ZK STUDIO, a film production studio.
